Guild Wars - Currency

Guild Wars uses the term Gold and platinum as there money system, there are tons of money making ways out there. Most of it is from killing mobs and selling/trading items to other players. I found gold was not hard to come by and can be made in a good fashion. The economy is based around the prices people sell things for. For instance if I sold a material for a low price, the market would eventually start to lower the price on that item. This can be good and bad for you. If you have a rare item you always can wait until the price rises and cash in, so its like a constant stock market.

Gold can be made all throughout the game, so don’t feel down if you’re not rich. Just go out questing with a friend and make some. Considering you don’t use potions, you rely only on your skills. So you won’t be wasting money on those items.
